In my last post, I expressed my frustration at the increasing rate in which facebook is fast becoming the haven of pitchers. People who are constantly sending you unsolicited messages and wall posts about how incredible their business opportunities are. You may wish to read the post HERE.

And it’s becoming tiresome because you’d think that having not seen smart results and the percentages of people who are complaining about their intrusion into their privacy, they would have ceased from their toils and labours. Instead, like those who commented on my last post said, it seems to be spurring them on.

And that is why I love Jim’s Rohn’s quote:

“If someone is going down the wrong road, he doesn’t need motivation to speed him up. What he needs is education to turn him around.”

In this post I’ll be providing my favourite replies to these unsolicited messages and hopefully it will prove useful to you.

Thanks to those who commented on the last post. Honestly without it, I’d think I was the only one experiencing the spamming.

When Steve Shoemaker wrote about a gentleman (Why do you call him a gentleman, Steve? :-) ) who uses hootsuite to automate messages within 1 minute of one another promoting his program, never saying hello to anyone or anything else, I had to shake my head. You know in what way I shook my head already, huh? :-)

Vincent Parker said “… I can’t argue that Internet Marketing is a number’s game to a point, but I would much rather speak to one person who is interested and looking for what I have to offer than 100 who are not”. That’s the way of the champion, Vince!

Sherman Smith added a remarkable comment too.

“You can pitch and get some success, but the question is how long is that success going to last? …The majority of people do not want to be pitched, and also the majority of people do not like to be pitched, so why add it as a marketing strategy?” I wonder too, Sherman. Wise words.

Opportunities in every crisis…

Like all true entrepreneurs know, opportunities are up for grabs when there are crises. Instead of complaining like the rest of the world, entrepreneurs turn the tides in favour of themselves.

Therefore, instead of whining and venting your frustration like everyone else does, why don’t you fashion out a way of taking advantage of the situation, especially because you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Let’s talk on the mindset a little …

One of the things I have benefitted tremendously from MyLeadSystemPro is that everyone has a mindset with which they do whatever they are doing.

Same with people who are in the habit of providing unsolicited requests. They know that majority of people are not cool with it, but some take it like it’s part of the game and that if they try harder, sooner or later their baits will catch fish.

The truth is that majority of them are not as successful as they’d want to and the people they recruit don’t duplicate, like Sherman said.

Deep inside, they want to be successful. If not they won’t make the effort of selling in the first place.

They believe in the network marketing model, they have spent money on the industry. They want to succeed.

Yeah, they want to succeed…

And because they want to succeed, there lies your opportunity. Simply help them to succeed by offering them something that will make their lives easier.

Now I’ve been able to use all of them successfully but always try to understand the context so as to know the messages that is most appropriate.

Must you use these scripts? Absolutely not! In fact I’ll be glad to see you come up with yours. I’ll even like you to share them with me. I’m the type that is always open to learning.

It’s not rocket science. Just use opportunities that look seemingly frustrating to your advantage, like I did to the guy who pitched me with facebook IM. I educated him and he bought Magnetic sponsoring within two days. (Clap for me;-) )

But honestly, use every available opportunity you have to add value.
