facebook notesOver the last few weeks, I’ve been able to generate some very good leads using facebook notes and it is my sincere hope that after reading this note you will see key reasons facebook notes is a powerful way to generate leads for your home-based business.

If I were just starting marketing online today and know what I know about facebook notes like I know now, I wouldn’t go after building a blog first or any of the advanced marketing strategies I’ve learnt over time. I’d start with facebook notes!

What Facebook Note is not…

Facebook note is not about spamming people about your business opportunities and telling them what an opportunity of a lifetime it is you have got. People have got enough of that and it’s repulsive!

It’s about giving people something interesting for people to read. Something short and concise that drives home a lesson.

And you know what? It’s ridiculously easy to get content for facebook notes ‘cos it could be about anything. It could include information on personal development, something inspiring or encouraging. You can tell us a story you’ve heard before and craft your own lesson into it.

Just make sure it’s 100% value and at the tail end of your note give a ‘Call to Action’. Something like getting some free resources, you can tell them to call you, send you a private message. You can send them to your blog or a capture page. Anything!

Merits of Facebook Notes

  1. Easy to Write: You do not need to worry about SEO and Keyword researches. You simply write an exciting headline targeted at the emotion side of people. A headline that people would love to click.
  2. Interactiveness: Write an engaging note and watch people comment and interact on the comment section of your note. I like this ‘cos this business is all about people. The more buzz your notes create the more people see you as ‘cool’ and you know what that means. :)
  3. Comment Exposure: if your friends get to comment on your posts it gets seen by their friends. This creates some excellent exposure for your contents.

I’ve written notes that got shared by my friends. This is increased exposure for me.

4. Targeted Promotion: There are hundreds, maybe thousands of facebook groups (both old and new) and fan pages about your niche. What you need to do is find them out using facebook search. Join a couple of them and post the url link of your notes there. That instantly put your content in front of the right audience.

5. Recycling Opportunities: Facebook notes are such that in case you are just plain lazy about writing a note later on, you could simply repost your old notes on your profile, fan pages and groups.

The advantage is that it is in front of new people who probably had not seen it before and you could generate leads over and over again using the same notes.

  • Underline: <u>this text is underlined</u>

  • Small text: <small>this text is small</small>
  • Insert a link: <a href=”URL”>this text is a link</a>
  • Insert a headline: <h1>This is a Level 1 Headline</h1>
  • Numbered (ordered) list: <ol>

So that’s my thoughts on generating leads using facebook notes. I absolutely love this strategy!
