#1 Reason Your MLM Blog Sucks

Today, I will continue with my MLM Blog series.
There are a lot of MLM bloggers that are out there pounding their head against the wall, wondering why they are not getting the kind of results they see others get.
If you are yet to see the reason you should get yourself a blog, I recommend that you read this post before you continue,
10 Top Reasons to Get a MLM Blog
You see, it is not just about setting up a blog, you must be able to put the blog to use in your business so as to ensure that it is getting you the kind of results that you want. And the good thing about success is that it is predictable. Follow the guidelines of those succeeding and you raise your chances of succeeding.
#1 Reasons Your Blog is Not Converting
You must have a purpose for your blog. Ask yourself ‘Who are the people I intend to attract to my blog?’ Until you can define your target market, you will not be able to attract the kind of people that you want. Until you can define your target market, it’s impossible to tailor your blog posts to their needs.
The #1 reason your blog sucks to your potential blog visitors is because you are not writing with their needs in mind.
I get to many blogs that are supposed to be MLM blogs and I just don’t understand why they are called MLM blogs.
I have always said that being a MLM Blogger is different from being a Blogger. So many people do not know the difference and that singular point makes their blogs suck.
As a MLM blogger, your blog posts should be about the topics that would assist your target market build their MLM businesses. If your blog posts are centered on the latest tech products, clickbank items, wordpress themes etc, you need to ask yourself where your priorities lie.
It is not about attracting traffic, you must endeavor to attract the right targeted audience.
There were many times I had deleted drafts of my posts because after putting myself in the shoes of my readers I know that it is not the right post for my blog.
And a good way to know whether you are attracting the right audience is to use Google Analytics. If you discover that your organic traffic is made up of people searching for Super Bowl, 2012 elections, Eminem, etc, then it is time to take a look at the contents of your blog posts.
If you want to know the kind of contents that you think your potential readers would be interested in, take a trip to the blogs of those in your niche that you admire. There is nothing wrong in learning what is working for them and going ahead to implementing them on your own blog.
Your time is precious; only use it to craft post that would produce the greatest return on investment!

Tosin, how right you are. You do need to talk to the right people otherwise all your work will fall on deaf ears.
I rely on my analytics tool all the time to get to know who my audience is. There are so many people who don’t leave comments or step up and ask questions… so it’s important to have some way to get to know ‘who’ they are and ‘what’ they want.

Great post Tosin, It is important to take relevancy into consideration when choosing a topic. Questions like; would this help someone in the mlm business, is this a valuable content, is it attractive ? etc.

Hey Tosin,
Great article. Yes, we need to focus on the needs of the audience in our blog posts. This is what would add value to them and entice them to re-visit and opt into you.
So being aware of your target audience is the key, and another important point is to understand what they are looking for and show them how your products or services can be of help to them.
